Just the license costs are probably more than that by themselves.

Of course it costs a lot more than $50 to make, but the markup is crazy.

if it would cost around 900$, I wouldn't say anything, but just because it's made in the USA, is it supposed to cost rip-off 1,6k ?? at some point the fun stops!!

Here in germany the price is 2200 Euro -> ~2455 $. Way too expensive for me.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

You guys are hilarious, first whine about why all the stuff is being made in China and how you are all willing to pay more if it’s made in USA. Now it’s made in USA, you cry and whine about how expensive it is. Got news for you, this is made in USA in action.

Each piece is machine aluminum and requires a lot of manual work, if it was made in China the retail will be <$1000

Also the old master replica sabers were $400-800ish so price is in the ballpark. Companies need to make at least 100% in profit. This thing probably has cost basis of $500 all included.

I am just waiting for the movie to see how significant this saber really is, if it’s just from some bs dream sequence probably not worth owning
