New display case

After years of wanting one I finally purchased one

No idea why the pic is sideways

It’s a Howard Miller Townsend. Got it from here during their July 4th sale. I LOVE it but my one complaint is cleaning the inside of the door is tricky

Dug, how do you clean the inside of the door? And did the electric cord with yours get pinched under one of the top panes? Last question, how many Bowen’s do you put on the glass?

Cleaning is always tough but the inside doesn't get done that often thanks to the glass.

I threw away the lighting system and ran 2 sets of remote control LED's in it. One set at the front and one set at the mirrored back. Then I took some black craft paper and carefully shrouded the lights from direct viewing angles so it just glows. I can turn just the back lights on which gives the statues a shadowed look which is quite cool or both sets for total viewing.

I have 3 large Sideshow pieces on the bottom, about 10 full size Bowen X-Men villains in the center, and about 8 full size Spidey characters on the top.

Wish sharing photos was easier on this site. Find me on Statueforum face book page and if you want to see pics
