The "winners" of the poll ended up being Superman (over cap), Batman (over Iron Man),and Thor (over Wonder Woman), so that's who they are making first. It's a new line. So its not Adam West batman. Definitely comic based they said on their Instagram stories.

I would assume Cap, Iron Man and Wonder Woman do get made, just not during the 1st wave.

So this line is to hit the highlights of both DC and Marvel, but based on fan choice to drive up engagement?

Not against the idea, it's just a little weird when they've already pumped out so many of these characters from each side.

Exactly. I do get that the original Superman DC Comics 1/10 figure was one of the first, and very very rare to find these days, so a new supes would be nice. Also I don't believe there has been a comics 1/10 Thor yet so that would be cool as well.

With how deep they are diving with the X-Men line there is hope they will dig past the main characters that are popular.

There was. It was maybe released around 3 years ago, but it was one of their black base pieces.

I’m just kinda confused with the art direction of this line. Will they look similar to the x-men or look more cartoony?

Right but IS has been releasing statues with cool bases and action poses for some time now and NOT calling them "unleashed". Any of the Avengers & X-Men line have detailed bases with action poses. Is there really a need to call this new DC/Marvel line "unleashed"? Cause I don't really think so.

And thanks for clearing up the Thor black base statue. I forgot about that as it was an older release. So that also too definitely needs an updated release like Supes.

Exactly. Where is the real start for the new line..is Mr Freeze and Poison Ivy included? Do we need to chase some older pieces like Penguin? It is not clear unlike the X-Men line which has a clear first character release so it is easier to follow.
