XM 1/4 scale STORM

Geez, if she would've been wearing her classic Byrne costume, I'd be all over this. As is, I think she looks great but I want a Byrne lineup in 1/4 scale.

The issue with the hair is that is looks gray from many angles and in different lights. Putting this piece next to the rest of my Storm collection and that will stand out like a sore thumb as being gray.

Dat a$$ and thighs on Ororo is perfect. But she does have a lot of red in her skin tone. A lot.

Dammit -- I want to hate this, but I can't. I can just be sad at the suit color.

Maybe some more blue in the weather effect to break up the greys and whites?

After watching the video I am going to have to get her. hopefully not many people want her, so her aftermarket price doesn't skyrocket. Still wondering what prime 1 is going to do with their mutant license but this is really the 1/4 scale storm to own atm.

I agree 100%, the last few statues XM has done the female portraits have been excellent.

That's not gonna happen. She is getting her just due. Storm is shooting to the top for me. Dare I say I like her just as much as Weapon X and Dark Phoenix.

RaddTitan video shows the color in much better accuracy. The yellow lighting is really playing with some because it is doing funky stuff of the pearl / silver paint app. She does not have a white suit. It is pearl with lots of silver accents in addition to a silver / gray undercoat that helps add shading and depth. Her hair is white as well. Much whiter than initial pics showed in the goofy lighting.

Storm is a show stopper...and without question in my mind the best Storm ever made in 1/4 so far. The texturing, details in hair, portraits, pose, etc. all primo! She is definitely one of my top 10 pieces at the show.

Her hair is white Demona. It is white with gray to help add depth. How are peeps not seeing this?

I'm quite glad Radd Titan posted the video I linked on the previous page. Those pics we saw this morning killed all of my interest in the piece, but luckily the video brought it back.

My main question right now is this: Dark Phoenix isn't even painted and they've shown all three head sculpts, but Storm is fully painted and we still haven't been shown any of her switch outs/alternate portraits. Why?

good question...i heard RaddTitan mention the other head...but maybe it is being redone to something else...hopefully a mohawk portrait
