What Marvel/DC Villain Would Do the Most Damage with the Infinity Gauntlet?

So.. yeah.. what villain from either Universe would do the most damage?

Thanos basically made himself the "master of all things", with the Tribunal simply stating it's the natural progression of things and looking the other way (even after Thanos overpowers Eternity/Galactus/Celestials (? I forget if he smoked the Celestials or not)), but Nebula ultimately took advantage of his arrogance and he was "defeated", and the chaos he brought forth with the IG was undone. Thanos is his own worst enemy or he'd still possess the Gauntlet, undoubtedly.

Which villain wouldn't suffer from shooting themselves in the foot, and would achieve and successfully (for a time spanning longer than a mini-series ) maintain their idea of Godhood?

What do you think they would do first?

Let's not make this characters who already are deities, like Galactus/Spectre/etc... let's make this limited to people who put their spandex leotards on one leg at a time every morning.

I think Victor Von Doom's a good candidate for using the Gauntlet to be the world's ruler. He respects T'Challa and Namor, so he might leave their kingdoms alone.. but everything else, he'd take over.

He'd wipe out the Inhumans, and maybe mindwipe Reed Richards... I don't think he'd kill him, necessarily.

He's not someone who has to be a God; he actually does show concern for the people of Latveria...

I think his first order of business would be to make some sort of agreement (good luck) with Mephisto, regarding the release of his Mother's soul.. which he still hasn't found, right?

I don't think he'd "do the most damage" because he's not out to annihilate everyone on Earth.. I just think it'd be an interesting read.

Doom would be ok, and in the same vein as him i wonder how somebody like Lex or Vandal Savage would do thing, both men already view themselves as far superior to those around them that i'd be interested in seeing how they would shape things to their image. and somebody who i think could really do some serious damage would be Apocalypse, i could only imagine what he'd do with all that power

The Joker. He'd eventually ef it up most likely, but the damage would beyond comprehension.

On the other hand Darkseid would pull it off.

i did think of the Joker, he did have Mr. Mxyzptlk powers for awhile and made quite a mess of things with that
