Wow. What a lopsided series, and a real susprise, for those of us who followed the Rocks all year. They should have done better, no question, but the Sox were definitely the better team this time around. Congrats to Boston on some good ball!
My only disappointment is really that this will reinforce for some the misinterpretation that eastern teams are the only ones who play "real" baseball. Giving a WS audience a better sense of what the Rocks could really do would have gone a long way to proving that theory wrong...but hey, there's always next year, right? Isn't that what we're supposed to say?
Anyway, I tip my hat to the Red Sox. Nicely played, gentlemen.
