Pictures of this statue seem to vary in their texture, so I am confused on the actual finish.

However, it is very different and I love the base.
Also, PopCultureShock is executing this statue and it is guaranteed to be awesome and of great quality.

So, I can totally see myself picking this one up.

The picture on the teaser is a bit of a goof on my part. I accidentally sent Sideshow the wrong pic. In that pic the lips were quickly painted in photoshop at a low resolution.

it wasnt supposed to make it to Sideshow. it will be changed out on Monday when people are back in the offic.e

Theres an official thread for this statue so Im going to pull it up and add some new pics.

the base is great, but darkchylde itself does not measure up to how she was drawn in the comic book. it lacks the wow factor from the comic book. so no to the statue and yes to the comic book to be released.

Darkchylde Statue

Hi All

I will be purchasing the statue of Darkchylde. I have been collecting this character for nearly 14 years, and yes, it has been a long wait for Ariel to appear in this form, but that wait will soon be over.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you purchased this statue.

All the best,

Master

A Cimmerian
I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

I agree. Unfortunately I think that it is a missed opportunity.
I love the character and I hope to see another statue in a not too distant future.
