The ice ball actually broke away from the hand in one piece. I had to reglue some fingers back on the hand.

Finally got my sub-zero, i was one of the biggest skeptics of the hood but i actually like it it's quite loose on the sides and has lots of fabric there out of the box - i don't know if it's just mine but i don't see the skinny head/neck issue and this is without "fluffing" too much

Yes that's the one (MKX) I see on the sideshow website for pre-order at 444.99 (They should have stated it at 445.00). I like it.
Not that I'll get into collecting these though, but just saying

just wondering, were there any leaning issues with this statue? I read someone mention that there were leaning issues with Subzero in the scorpion thread.

No leaning issues, but there were a few that had bad castings that were leaning forward, but that is how they arrived. They didn't begin to lean when the collector displayed it. Saw a few pics for Scorpion, but I didn't see any for Sub-Zero. Most of the issues that I saw (and experienced myself) for Sub were the light up not functioning properly.
