that's tacky. it's in the box on the shelf. they're not very cool to deal with, but this should hopefully be a simple transaction--i'm jealous! mine was MORE & took longer!

Hey Jono,...
I WOULD TRUST you much more than them, so PLEASE,..if in fact I speak with him tomorrow and he sells it to me,....I'll pay for it, but yes, if you could pick it up and ship, I would be more than happy to cover the shipping, insurance, packing materials and cover you for gas and your troubles.
But, yeah,....I spoke with a guy who says that the Owner would be out today and will be in tomorrow and that he "might be keeping it" for himself. I know that sometimes, "Money talks" and if I were actually there with "cash in hand!" then he might have a change of heart and just say "Sure!" but as I am on the phone with him, and 3,000 miles away,....I probably don't have the same influential power like I did at the SDCC this weekend.
Sheesh.
What a great price......I REALLY hope that this can work out,.....I've been wanting this statue for so long now......

um, there's not a way i can pick it up for you this weekend, sorry: leaving tomorrow afternoon for a wedding, back on Monday. MAYBE i can drop in tomorrow earlier than 5 . . .
otherwise, i have NO problem getting it for you & physically shipping the thing. not a big deal at all.
