Bel is a different type of sculptor. Seems to be better suited to female characters and inconsistent when it comes to male characters.

Looks like we know what Hal has to use that ring on next.

It's because he never gives his male characters a bulge of any kind. It's very odd looking on the characters who wear the skintight suits.

Haha, thighs and package are melted. Who has thighs like that? They look like blisters.

Hmm...
I remembered Bane and can see a pattern. I believe this was talked about at the time the maquette was revealed.

When you expand Details on respective statue's pages, you see many names there (Design, Sculpt, Paint). With so many people 'designing' / minds thinking, you'd expect at least one of them to point out and say, "Guys! Guess we should make the important stuff more pronounced. It'll look natural and better!" Some peer review or constructive feedback could help, I guess (nothing against the statues below. I like them all; especially, TBoBS. Just used them as an example for Details.)

Anyways, I have no intention to disrespect Bel's work. Hell, I have zilch idea about how things take shape from 2D/3D to the final product. The effort a sculptor puts in to bring art to almost life is beyond comprehension. It's easy to criticize. But then with us being so passionate about depiction of our Superheroes, it's difficult to hold back when something's so ridiculously conspicuous.

Forps' thoughts don't sound so over the top now.
