Now I just have to see how long it takes for it to be in fedex's possession...

Based on this, with tracking numbers received on 12/11 and 12/12, I'd be looking at delivery sometime around 1/30 and 1/31 for Chun Li and April, respectively. I guess we'll see...

Someone was asking on the PCS (Facebook) page, how long from China to France via boat, and the average wait time is 50 days.
I would have thought 1/4 scale pieces would ship via air?

Got an email that status is now "shipped"
I'm not sure how long it will take, but I'm guessing at least weeks to arrive.

Does PCS ship from China to Kentucky?
I would have thought for US collectors, PCS would have a container delivered from China to the US and ship from the US?
-
PCS Storm shipped on 3rd December. 39 days and counting.
PCS Chun-Li shipped on 24th December. 18 days and counting.
Based on the 50 day theory (China to Europe) i have 11 days remaining on Storm and 32 days remaining on Chun-Li.
Holidays (Xmas etc.) can add to delays.
I doubt a boat on the on an ocean will be affected by holiday days.
Unloading a container over a holiday period could be delayed.

PCS announced a change to their US Shipping logistics on September 18, 2024:
"Domestic (US) Shipping Update for Preorders
Hello PCS Family,
We are making adjustments to how we ship our collectibles to our customers in the US for PREORDERS. In the past, we have usually freighted our collectibles via ship through a forwarder and then rail/truck the containers from the US port to our warehouse in the US. From this point the collectibles are sent out via Fedex. We are seeing constant issues from the freight leg of increased prices (triple the usual), delays at the port/customs, delays on the train schedule, and delays on the truck schedule. This all came to a head with the delays on getting Candyman, Jordan, Dan & Ryu, Bison & Rolento, and Blanka & Fei Long to our warehouse. All these products were suppose to be in our warehouse 8/15 and were delayed due train delays. Typical delivery times from Factory to US door is usually 50 days (scheduling, sea, train, truck, warehousing, Fedex). These freight delays are pushing it to 80 days plus increase costs that would've increased your shipping costs more.
Because of these issues, we started working on other solutions to get your collectibles to you sooner and keep the shipping prices down. We spent the last month researching and negotiating with multiple partners to find a better, faster, and cheaper way to get our collectibles in your hands from our warehouse in overseas. As a result, we have increased our partnership with Fedex and a new logistics partner. Going forward we will use these partnerships to ship PREORDERS directly from our warehouse overseas. The new delivery time will average 35 days instead of 50 to 80+ days. Home delivery will still be handled by Fedex on the last leg of the trip. We will be using this new method for Egon first and the rest of our preorders going forward.
So what does this mean for you? Still good shipping prices. Quicker delivery from when the collectible is completed at the factory. Once final payment and shipping is paid you will still get your Fedex tracking so you can track your package. The major differences are that final payments are due a couple of weeks sooner and you will have the tracking number during the 35 day period, instead of getting it at the end of the 50-80+ days. But, end result is faster delivery.
Apologies for the long post, but wanted to fill everyone in on the update.
Regards,
Ant Adams
CEO/Creative Director"

Makes sense.
It also saves PCS have to have a massive warehouse in the US. I guess it all stacks up to save $$'s.

My assumption would be that I'll get an update at some point it has arrived in a Pacific port (likely Oakland, California) and then a week or so later be in Kentucky.

The tracking numbers i have cannot be tracked until the parcel is in the hands of the (land) courier company,
in my case, a company named DPD, who are aware that a parcel is heading their way.
I guess this type of tracking experience is normal for ocean shipping.
