As we get closer to the end of this year's awards, we can all agree that it has been an exhilarating ride from the beginning until now, thanks to you. And there are still battles raging on! Who will win? We're about to find out.

2014 Statue of the Year Tournament Finals

The Finals are here. After some hard-fought rounds the top contenders made it to the final showdown. Prime 1 Megatron (the winner of the X-Large Scale) and Sideshow Superman (the runner-up of the Large Scale) eliminated the competition handsomely and have their sight on the champion's ring. Who will take it? Only you can decide.

Favorite Company of 2014

Simultaneously, the poll for the best company of 2014 has been running and it is ready to be wrapped up. Who do you think is the most deserving of the title? So many great companies but so little time to decide. Make your vote count!

Favorite Company of 2014 Link.

Both voting polls will close on Sunday January 25 at noon Eastern, so make sure to cast your vote and to leave your comments. See you there!

Thanks again to everyone that participated in this year's awards event. I feel the first year of the re-launch was a great success.

I have created a feedback thread HERE.

Please take a moment to tell us what you liked, what you didn't like, and also give us suggestions to help make the event even better in the future!

P.S.

It's great to see companies like Prime 1 Studio already embracing the awards!

I agree with the statue of the year for Prime 1 but I am mystified how they were runner ups for best statue company for 2014 since they only had 1 statue out in 2014??

SSC should had been runner up...jmho

Remember that right at the end of the year Prime 1 made some exciting announcements: DC/Arkham Batman license, and TMNT license (although they removed the announcement of classic turtles, they may still be coming). Also, some Optimus Prime's trickled out in late December and early January, and he looks amazing.

So, in answer to your question, Prime 1 is hot right now. The result is not as surprising as it first appears once you dig a bit deeper.

XM only had two statues released last year and they (deservedly, in my opinion) won Best Company. It's less about quantity of statues and more about customer satisfaction, as well as consistency and quality of product (at least, that's how it was intended).
