Where did all the texturing on the top of her hair go? It hid the seam. Now it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Photo comparisons are on page 11...

Yeah, I see what you mean. Unless that photo has been kind of airbrushed. It is concerning though

Proto's often have various seams the final won't. I think the new Lady Death's head didn't even sit fully into her body in some proto pics. The hair seam doesn't concern me at all.

Getting that super subtle shading under her eyes on a production piece? Now that concerns me.....

But look at the proto at display at the con, the hair looked great. Whatever is going on with this pic, it looks bad. Why would they modify the piece, which is not that intricate to begin with, to be worse?

I’m hoping this is another photoshop attempt bc SS and the actual piece looks like the con piece. Even with less that in house paint apps, the design masks the seam.

I personally think the hair looks awful. I don't find the face attractive either.

Who said anything about modify? Protos are often in small pieces which don't always go back together well. Look, if SS puts her out with a giant seam in the middle of her hair like that, I'll eat crow. Until then, it won't keep me up at night.

Usually it's the factory that makes the changes do to the molds... In this case they split the hair into two pieces where the prototype was probably one piece.....

that said, the crease does stick out like a soar thumb. Odds are the crease will remain on the production statues..

That RSVP pic is a production piece? No....

Anyone have a pic from a Con from above, showing the seam? Or not? Page 11 pix showed nothing.

PS - I agree, the hair, seam not withstanding, looks horrid in the RSVP pic, as Northern pointed out. I hope the final pics look great, because I really want to get this.

Haha, I'm an idiot, I have my own pic from SDCC . As I figured, the seam is there.... because it's the same proto.
