WOOHOO! Hell of a story and I'm excited FOR you. I saw you sketch and the Death piece. I hope the Rogue goes up on CAF soon.

I am soo jealous of the DC Women jam -- you have two of my dream artists on there -- Dodson and JSC. Are you going to kill me by snagging Brooks next?

Can I ask what JSC charges for sketches? I have never seen him actually sketch at cons unless he feels the urge so I've only gotten prints from him.

And also -- congrats to you and your wife on the baby. I hadn't seen other posts where you mentioned expecting a little one, so hope I'm not too tardy on the congrats

Love the drama Carlos, I didn't realize it came right down to the wire with JSC. What a great con experience!!! You're wife sounds like a real trooper.

Batgirl looks great and really looking forward to seein (fingers crossed) Brooks take on Hawgirl.

Thanks again buddy, you scored 2 awesome commissions for me, I couldn't be happier!!!

haha. at this stage im going to just hold out for either hughes or brooks. brooks is probably the more attainable of the two. we'll see who makes it to Chicago in April

thanks all for the kind words on the pieces / story. it was quite a weekend!

oh and also thanks for the words on my wife! she's not only been tolerant of my hobby but has really helped out - she's hustled to be first in line for Ramos, third for Finch, has gotten a dozen Alex Ross signatures, and can probably spot the comicmonster an aisle away

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

ComicMonster was there? Oh Boy. Can only imagine what he was up to.

BTW Congrats on getting JSC. I know from great experience on how hard it is getting something from him.

Took me forever to get on his home commission list and it looks like it'll be done soon.

Your tale made me feel like I was at the con.

Good stuff man.
