Han Solo... ANH Blaster or ESB Blaster ?

I am on the fence between Han Solo ANH Blaster and ESB Blaster.
ANH Blaster looks authentic, but it's quite expensive.
ESB Blaster looks a little toyish but price is reasonable.
How does ESB Blaster look in person?
Could those of you who own either of peice, offer some thoughts and opinions?
And, maybe some pictures.
Thanks,

I would get the ANH Solo Blaster. I passed on that blaster to get the Luke ROTJ saber and have regretted it ever since. I have the ESB blaster though, and it definitely doesn't look toyish; but, the ANH Solo Blaster does have a better "look" because of the build quality. Both would be a great additions to any collection IMO, but the original ANH Han Blaster is better built, is more limited, and is from the original film.

ANH is better for sure, that's why it sells for a lot.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

ANH blaster kicks the ESB blaster across the room. I have both and when they are side by side the ESB just doesn't hold up against the ANH. also the ANH has a working trigger, hammer and no orange plug which has become standard for the newer releases. ANH has a more "real" feel to it.

Go ANH, you will not regret it.

I agree with DarthRobbler and for the same reasons. I've read that the Chinese factory that made the ANH version is not allowed to make such realistic gun replicas anymore. That's why the ESB version has the non-working trigger and all the other nonsense.

Lakes, I had both. Sold both after my son born( don't want 1:1 gun replicas around my house anymore, the Stormtrooper blaster will go also). The difference is night and day. If you can find the ANH(and for a good pirce, which is pretty difficult these days), go for it!

I am definately getting ANH blaster. Is $1250 shipped fair price for it?

That's a good price. I've seen these sell for over $3,000 before. The price isn't as high as it was about a year ago, but they are still very desirable.

Here's the auction tracking info if you want to check it out:
