Alex Ross Litho Help!!

Hey everyone!

I´m a total newbie in collecting art , so I decided to ask all the pros here for some help.
I have the chance to buy a Alex Ross Lito that i find to be very awesome.
Question is that I have NO idea what the rate on these things are.
Can anyone help me out in what a reasonable price for this should be? Oh, and signed by Romita and Alex.

That looks like it's from Dynamic Forces, if I remember correctly the retail on this was about $85.00 unframed.

I have the one of Spidey Fighting The Green Goblin over NY city (as you're looking up) signed by Romita and Ross and it was supposed to be $85.00 but the clerk charged me the unsigned price of $35.00.

And any idea on their worth now?

Still about the same I would think, they are still available in some stores.

It might be useful to do a Google search on the litho to see if it's for sale on ebay and elsewhere. I just did a very quick search on Ebay and found one of these prints (it doesn't state if it's signed) at a "Buy it Now" price of $79.95. You can see it here - http://tinyurl.com/2ngeb2

I'm afraid that my knowledge of the original art market is pretty good but not with lithos so maybe other board members will provide some advice

These Lithos never really go up in value until they are very hard to find. $70-$85 signed or $40 unsigned and unframed is the going rate for most Ross lithos. Which ones are you looking for? I have a couple to sell that are framed already.

Someone has one on EBay for a starting bid of $39.99 and a buy it now for $79.99 and I would consider that reasonable. It is a pretty large lithograph and by the way good luck finding someone to mat it and frame it.

I actually have that litho signed by ross and romita. cant remember how much I paid for it.
