Yep. And I remember having a blast trying to bend the unyielding tips of the cape's wire frame inward to contour to the neck line so that the portrait would even fit. No bueno.
Still, despite that poor design choice, that piece was one of the better DC pieces I've owned.

Batgirl #298 arrived without any flaws, I am really happy with this piece. The cape is not as difficult to attach as I thought and both portraits look great in person.

While I can appreciate the dynamic of the design, something just looks off with this one to me. Maybe it's just the pics -- but her head looks too big for the body or torso looks too small/thin which throws the visual off. My preferred look for Batgirl doesn't look 14 either. However, I'm aware there were eras of Batgirl when she was portrayed as teenager-ish.

Huntress's cape design is clearly the way to do it. The cape and head don't depend on each other to remain attached to the statue.

I have no preference between cloth or sculpted capes. I think this cape looks pretty good. But I often don’t like how ss chooses to attach cloth capes and this one could’ve been attached better. Same time, I’ve had sculpted capes that were a mess to connect or I wish they were posed differently than how they were sculpted.
Anyway I’d like this in the classic colors. She’s a bit too “Batman” with just grey and black bodysuit.
