Whoa, I didn't think the base would be that cool. It's so good. Loving the smoke trails, too.

Damn nuisance , the smoke . I think I will put more details in the castle , like outer gate and balcony for royal decrees , and eliminate the white deformities .

Thanks for watching !

hi rvbhal, I'm new to the forum and yet I think I've already found a new idol

That work is just crazy, the figure alone was already magnificent. the base brought a teardrop to my eye.

I would be very much interested to learn the materials you used.

I sand and dremel buff my works but cant seem to get a piece that clean.

Thank you very much :Miguel ,
Darcius
Menace : I have to think about casting costs . This thing has already far to many parts ... you know, for the copy that is to be painted . The ooak copy . I wont paint the prototype . wax etc ...
Indelaxiom : I will keep the smoke trails stored . But right away I will try it without them . Appreciate your opinion . Fresh eyes are all important . Mine are totally tired .

Alex
Terminator : It is words like yours that keeps me going.
Materials : mostly sculpey firm . Parts in epoxy , when strength is needed( like carpet and hair armature ), a bit of wax for small stuff, and on the base all and everything I can find lying around .
Many factors are in play to get a smooth sculpey surface .
Beginning with the baking . The temperature you use is fundamental . Trial and error . In time you get it .
Sanding , no mystery there . Begin with strong grit , and in steps go to finer ones . And buffing with motor mounted cloth wheels is a bit tricky . Good are high speeds associated with LITTLE pressure . Again , trial and error .

Welcome to the forum !
