Domino...yes. Cable...kinda came up short...literally.
Brolin's height was noticeable and I think a joke was even made by Deadpool about it. He was ripped but lacked the body mass to truly make Cable a formidable presence. I liked his hardware and guns. Those were interesting and complimented him well. But I think the role was miscast.
Domino was truly the stand out star among the entire crew. She was charming, sexy, and tough. Well acted and not nearly enough screen time. My favorite character in the whole film.

That. Brolin is just a little guy, no disrespect to shorter fellas, but Cable is 6'8" or something. They needed Lundgren. Domino was great.

Poor Brolin. It's hard to be a giant when you're not CGIed like Thanos.
And Brolin is a better actor than Lundgren who I can't take seriously AT ALL. I'd rather have a shorter actor that I enjoy than a tall, meaty "actor" to make a role more comic accurate.

I know Brolin is relatively short, but his height was never once immediately noticeable enough in the movie to distract me. I suspect it was more noticeable for those looking to see if his height would be an issue.

Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

+1
The stuff people worry about. I remember when Hugh Jackman was too tall to play Wolverine.

Yeah, Lundgren will never win an oscar. To be honest though, Cable's dialogue in that movie wouldn't win anyone an oscar. I'll take Brolin as Cable though, that's fine. I am very glad they did Colossus right.

Brolin was perfect IMO. He played the part well.

That's too bad, considering that they could make a very convincing talking raccoon, awesome hulk, juggernaut and colossus. I was hoping that the appearance of cable in the movie is more like the one in comic book. Disney should spend more money for the movie especially how popular deadpool is right now.

Do you realize that Disney does not produce Deadpool or any related X-men film, right?
