Is it too early to nominate this as worst movie of 2016?

Couple of factors which sway my vote...

1.) Brenton Thwaites looks goofy in his wig and can't act.
2.) White actors again take up most of the starring Egyptian roles
3.) Excessive CGI
4.) From the director of Knowing with Nicholas Cage
5.) Did I mention excessive CGI?

Video gamey super fantasy.

Sad because with CGI that can help create these lost worlds, it's unfortunate that Hollywood doesn't spend more time on ancient Egypt in a realistic way. Tends to be fantasy things like this and the usual mummy horror. I know it's Hollywood but at least make something like Gladiator that is more grounded.

Not something I'd see in the theater but I'm sure I'll watch it eventually
