I would say more is better, but when it came to Ren, only 2 were good. The 3rd portrait looked too strange for most, myself included.

I didn't like the 3rd portrait, but I did very much like the masked head. They said this on facebook with the 360 video btw

there was previously 2 masked helmets, one with a crack over the eye and one full mask. They both looked great but preferred the one that had the crack unsure if we're still gonna get both, but it sounds like at least one though
