better hurry.

Do you know where most of those 24 covers are or are they in hidden collections somewhere?

I will say that new artwork is a bad investment. Back in 1999-2002. I paid $600, $800, and $1000 for new cover art. That was the same price as say the Spider-Woman #8 cover I paid $790 in the year 2000. That Spider-Woman cover is worth $18k. Those 3 covers are worth less money then I paid for them almost 20 years ago. One was a Thunderbolts Bagley cover, the other 2 were Ed McGuinness covers..

I know where a couple are. But the vast majority, no clue. I have gotten a few in my current collection from someone dying and a relative selling it.

Think back to the 70's if someone in there late 20's or 30's bought these, they probably are not computer savvy. So this stuff is sitting in a box somewhere. I've seen a few of those old printed advertisements selling the covers back in the 80's. One of them was #29 by Romita Jr. for like $500.

Curious why the spiderwoman market is so pricey? Is it a handful of collectors?

Some of it is so nice though. They didn't make painted covers like this back in the day....

Really cool to see this thread. I have also been inactive on here despite still collecting. I may just post an update after C2E2 this year! Got a few goodies I don’t think I’ve shared.

In addition, I’ve also started drawing myself, so we’ll see where that leads!

I think this is a great rule to follow.

I'm currently selling off a bunch of 'portfolio' pieces. They were nice to have, but ultimately just sat hidden in a portfolio, which I end up questioning why even bother?
