RIP Andy Griffith
This one hurts. Big fan of Andy's.
I posted this to Facebook too, but wanted to share it here. It's the essence of Andy Griffith's philosophy, to me, and from one of my favorite episodes ("Opie the Birdman") of his 60s series.
Opie: (after letting loose the birds he'd caught) The cage sure seems empty, Pa.
Andy: (looking up at the skies) Yep...but don't the trees look nice and full?
Thanks for everything, sir. Rest well.

Im from Andy's hometown, Mt. Airy, N.C. He was a great person and IMO the greatest TV Father ever. Sad, that when most of the country mentions the South, all people think of are rednecks but there are way more people that have values just like the characters in Mayberry. I'm sure Barney and Andy are on patrol in a better place.
RIP Sheriff.

RIP Andy; little late on my farewell, but... I loved TAGS back in the day. Rest in peace, Sir... you've earned it.
