I bought Queen of the Jungle even though I’m not into Jaguars because it was a statue of Lara Croft featuring a Jaguar. This is a statue of two Raptors featuring Lara Croft.
Hasn't been many "good deals" in statues for many years it seems as prices have risen quickly. The previous undersized Lara currently sells for around $1300 now so the market seems to be able to support this price point.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

This one is double the price ($100 absorbed by higher shipping).
But yes, all companies are leveling their pricing to the max atm.

Question; Was the previous 1/4 Lara made in house? or also mass produced in the east?

Bcs then only the proto is 'Weta quality'.
I wish this was cheaper too, but previous wasn't really 1/4 and 2 raptors are harder to do than a cat and a tree. 2 years seems like a long time ago for pricing, thanks covid. As for the quality, they set the bar for the factory to hit, so while nobody hits proto quality they have been doing pretty good.

Yes, with these prices I only pick some which I see/consider as standalone pieces (the ones you really 'need'/can't skip).
Bcs ppl can't have them all unfortunately

I didn't see that one, thanks. The difference is huge, I have the other one, and it looks so small next to the new one. Not sure I want to display them together that way...

You mean these?
I don't, but my brother is collecting those. They are nice but the more detailled they get the more expensive they are.

No, I meant the older Sideshow Premium Format 1/4 pieces for size reference vs the Weta Jungle piece.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

No, these are Gaming heads trash. Hes asking about the old sideshow pieces. IMO this is the definitive TR statue. And Im not a dino specialist, but didnt raptors always hunt in packs? Makes sense to include 2. If i was a huge Lara fan, id get it not happy about the price, but it is gorgeous

I don't have any other 1:4, only 1:3 (but these also differ a lot, despite all are Prime 1).
