Also I haven't read DK 3, do Batman and Superman fight AGAIN after TDKR?
No fight. These statues are mostly based on Dell'Otto variant covers for TDK3. His covers are typically inspired by TDKR.

I'll say this before the price talk starts. This is what P1 collectors want. These giant detailed statues. Artistically this is fantastic. I love it. That Batman sculpt in particular. It's a piece in your collection that when people walk in they will be like WOW! That being said in no way can I personally afford it. Approaching 3k for the DX is not a space i can play in. But for those that have the space and cash. This is fantastic!

I was hoping for an armored Batman statue solo, but since I don’t have a Superman statue and he is my least favorite superhero, this fits the bill perfectly!

My statue collecting started with the DKR Black, and will most likely end with this one. Can’t wait to get it! But as always with P1, I’ll wait. Awhile lol.

Considering the prices, that Justice Buster statue must be something else.

I'm just blown away by how awesome this thing looks. It clearly has had a lot of time and effort put into designing it (shouldn't expect anything less from P1 I guess!). I agree with Commander0Zero, certainly it is artistically fantastic.

As far as price goes, yes it is A LOT of money. But dare I say I think for the most part it's priced fairly. It is essentially 2 1/3 pieces with a massive diorama base to accompany them. Like for comparison, that upcoming JND Studios 1/3 TDK Joker is also $2500 and you're getting a realistic portrait, but a basic pose and base. That is a nice piece for sure but I do not see it as being worth that kind of money, especially in comparison to something like this TDKR diorama.

This is going to put me to the test, because I made a decision that I simply can't spend more than $1500 on any collectible no matter how good it is (and that was a decision I made recently after raising the bar since I have gotten into P1). But if the value is there.... and I save up over time.... maybe. Not an instant preorder due to cost but maybe further down the line. I wonder how many of these they will make?

It'll be interesting to see how people have this displayed. It's 43" tall, 38" wide, and 30" deep. That's an absolute beast of a statue.
