I'd love me a fully sculpted Morgul Lord.

That would be awesome, but absolutely MASSIVE. Has Prime 1 indicated what scale this line will be?

Hmmm, after seeing Weta's Master's collection Gollum and now the Treebeard they showed at SDCC, I was set on collecting that line. Will be interesting to see these two lines duke it out and although though P1 is great, I think the Master's collection quality will be better. Any thoughts?

The Master's Collection line looks to be great but also very expensive.

DROM, WK. I think Sauron's forces would sell the most.

Please no huge fugly busy bases!
They will have a very hard time beating Sideshow's beautiful elegant bases. If they could do something similar, I will buy every single one. Not buying LOTR characters that are overshadowed by huge busy bases.

Weta should be better, if the masters collection is truly that.... seeing as Weta worked on the films and created the creatures, armour, weapons and costumes, they have the best reference material at hand... the real thing, and in some cases the same oscar winning sculptors and artists from the film itself. If they truly focus on it and the quality control is top notch.

It’s looking real good, but Sideshow PF version is truly one of the best statues I’ve had the pleasure of owning. The closest thing to perfect one can imagine or hope for, capturing the essence of this character perfectly, and old school/traditional sculpting to boot. Prime is great, but they will have a mighty hill to climb to top SS.
