I see what you mean - and that's the problem with watching things on the internet and taking it at face value. I remember the video people posted of the ball girl climbing a wall and catching a foul ball - "showing up" all the male professional ball players. People applauded her - until it came out that it was a fake.
Personally, I don't take anything at face value anymore - it used to be "I have to see it to believe it". Now it's - I have to see it and run it through a series of tests to see if the film has been altered in any way to believe it...
