I wonder why the edition numbers are so low, we all know they will sell out immediately and the statues aren't that large. They could increase the numbers by 5 fold for 1000 regular and 250 limited and they will still sell all of them.
I really don't care about edition numbers, I just want to be able to actually buy the statues I want without having to hunt through massively over priced after market.

A Higher ES means more upfront costs and bigger risk. That could be part of the reason.

Yeah but 50? The first maquette sold on the secondary market for over $700+ and the es was 500, they could definitely do more than 50 without risk

That damned maquette. One popped up on ebay a week ago for $170 buy-it-now and of course I was sleeping. Insult to injury it was in my city.
And yeah, I agree, reg is an absolute must. Cannot miss that one.
