I think the idea is that the seam for the fishnets actually sits in a groove cut-out in the back of the leg. I think the idea is/was that since it's in the back, it won't be seen and holds the fishnets better.

No, they cut gutters in her legs and shoved the fishnets into the gutters.

It wouldn't bother me. The groove looks like a black line. Looks fine to me.

In person the grooves are to deep so you can see the top edges of the groove... Although unless you plan on posing the statue backwards nobody is going to notice but at this price range it would of been nice if they would of made the grooves more shallow so the nylon only fit hallway into the groove that way you would never notice the groove.

As long as I don't go looking for grooves then I seriously don't think it'll be a problem. Same thing with minor paint blemishes if you look for them no statue is without flaws.
Things I don't are for are Killer Croc's super obvious neck seam. I don't classify these grooves in the same class.
