The Shannara Chronicles (MTV)
Anyone else watch the first two episodes. Have to say very impressed. The production quality is pretty spectacular for a to show.

Thought it was a strong start for the most part. Poppy Drayton is a capable lead actress and a little hottie.

It's good. I watched the 1st 4 episodes over the weekend & enjoyed it. Finally, fantasy books from the 70's & 80's are making the jump. Still, w/ Smallville & the OC Director(s) like James Marshall at the helm, Shannara has that "CW" feel of beautiful young actors posing a lot for the camera. They've changed the feel of the books a bit, w/ more emphasis on the post-apocalypse/ruined earth setting, but I'm down w/ that; it's fun to look at & very pretty. The costumes look fantastic. I'm sticking w/ this one.

I started watching this on Netflix and am hooked!!!
What an incredible show! Perfect cast and great score...awesome effects and story too. Love it.
It's like a cross between LOTR and Hunger Games but so munch better than Hunger Games....highly recommend this one. Super fun and exciting show.

I watched the first season. Thought it started strong but ultimately ended up being fairly average. Narrative seemed to be there but some of the acting was pretty bad. Particularly the male lead.
I had season 2 recorded on my DVR and just never felt compelled to watch it so eventually I just deleted it. Sounds like I wasn’t the only one seeing as how it’s been canceled.

Just finished season 2 and it was still very good. This is what Star Wars used to be...fun. Great moments and scenes, story, and memorable characters. Hope season 3 happens.
