I saw this at STGCC. I won't say it's the perfect Carnage, but it's not bad at all. I have it on order.

Cross country skiing is great if you live in a small country.

oh thks amigos

i don't really know what to do. For me the SSC is a pass du to the pose, i can't have the comiquette and i hate the XM base, it's to neutral and the bottom part is a non sens as it's horizontal and then goes on the side.

i can't see a part of a skycrapper built like that.

iwas dreaming of this

and saw this:

What is that bottom base part above the Marvel logo ? non sens

The digital render were to good to be true

i think i'll wait for a future carnage. sadness.

I brought up that business at the bottom of the base, but no one else seemed to care.

What they did was render the spire, and it's at an angle, to appear like it's falling. But instead of just cutting the spire off at the bottom, they chose to arbitrarily 'drag' the render vertically to create a 'base'. It's a really odd, unnecessary decision.

See the portion under the red line.

We see the same problems Zen
Sorry i skipped some pages and missed your post.

You're not alone ^^

The base on the digital render was nice enough, maybe too complicated or expensive, but XM isn't stoped by things like that.

when you compare both pictures i think there's just a missing part on the final base, they decided to skip all the fluid tendrils and keep the rest of the base as is ...

This piece lost a lot of personality when they removed the symbiote ozze. I asked XM what happened and they said it just didn't look good when it came out of the printer.

The vertical section of the base is strange, but I didn't even notice it until now.

I didn’t notice the problems with the base until it was pointed out. It makes it seem like the top part of the building is on an angle like some crazed architect designed the top of the building this way.

Maybe because of this I’ll be able to pick this one up on the cheap later. I love me some Carnage and really like the transforming head.

The dull paint job on the base is a turnoff for me, total step in the wrong direction. The previous prototype looked so much more alive.

They emphasize storytelling but their bases have mostly been a disappointment. Only one I was happy with is phoneix.

Head sculpts were bad and don’t like the wax look, it’s a shame as concept looked awesome. End of day OG comiquette is all I’ll need
