I really wanted to see SS make a Beast statue but couldn't keep waiting. One of the third party guys has an amazing Beast playing chess that i picked up.

I'd love to see them make another Galactus though

I think it’s telling that like 60% of everyone posting is either X-MEN X-MEN X-MEN or BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN. No wonder Sideshow is making 8000 Batman and Wolverines.

I think it’s a case where the rules for the comics aren’t necessarily the rules for the statues. Because the comics can get away with showing skin for a few years now.

There is a reason DC Direct had entire lines around Batman and his Villains that sold through of each piece at around 5k ES per statue.

As much as everyone asks for the here and there one off character more people are willing to buy the favorites, and even multiples of those favorites.

But that’s the problem: correlating us saying “ X-MEN X-MEN X-MEN” with making more Wolverine. I know this forum has little clout but the people here have been saying specific X-Men names for years, that’s who we want, and they don’t make them. Wolverine is an extremely popular part of the X-Men, but “X-Men” doesn’t mean “Wolverine”.

Batman is a whole other story. They haven’t even nailed a broadly satisfactory 1/4 comic Batman yet after multiple attempts and that’s quite sad.

And that’s the thing, “entire lines centered around Batman AND HIS VILLAINS”. Sideshow lacks on the villains and supporting cast. Thankfully they did Mr. Freeze and Scarecrow and hopefully that showed them other characters when DONE RIGHT will sell because up until those 2 it was just repeats...Joker, Harley, Catwoman, Ivy, Bane. Oh, and the women, Batwoman, Huntress and multiple Batgirls, but we know DC female statues will always be made over males (although they slack heavy on non-mutant Marvel females).

I’m still waiting on my Spidey villains. XM has done the entire Sinister Six and more. And absolutely nailed a few of them. Sideshow keeps repeating the same 3.5 villains.

Yup. In 1/4 I have multiples of Spider-Man, Storm, Black Panther, Batman and Gambit and I’d gladly welcome more of them.
