Eh can't do it that fast or else people have too harsh of a reaction to it. But you squeeze them for $20 or $30 more every 6 months, and bam. You've got a ~$200 increase in price over 4 years.

Makes me yearn for a Ra's al Ghul even more. Give it to the K Bros!

Yeah, I'm trying to see when I might be able to snag this. It isn't day one but it's a buy.

Not a fan of the fabric cape. I will stick with my XM studios Doctor Strange

The positives for me are that it looks great and the price is reasonable. The negative, however, is the fact there are NO switch outs or even an EX. Really SSC, you can't give us one? Even a substitute hand? Maybe the green magic swirl doesn't work for everyone?

Also, while I've generally come to accept the fabric cape in this hobby, I still don't understand why SSC can't give us the option of a non-fabric cape. And if they are concerned about weight, they should look at the New 52 Superman Prime 1 statue (sorry, I mean SSC/P1 collaboration - even though we all know the production was really Prime 1) for an example. His non-fabric cape looks outstanding!

Looks great - to me a big improvement over XM's piece. And the price is less than I expected, so quite happy all around. Would have been nice to have had an alternate hand switch out though...

That’s correct.
They try to get you with those extra squeezes to see how far they can go. They know damn right they would have been happy with selling it at $575..

However at the same time you know damn right they couldn’t be happy with someone else selling it at $675 on eBay.

This is pretty much their philosophy. They rather have their customers take an automatic loss on reselling because they price things already so high then price it low enough we’re a customer can make a profit.

In terms of ss vs xm though on this one I like it better but Xm advantage is no fabric.

It's a good statue, but that price is nuts. I'll stick with my XM.
