I also looked at the review of batman statue collector. I understand you, as i watched the video i had the same thought. I wish to buy it. But the base.

The statue is not on "low stock" at sideshow. I think it is a good idea to wait a little longer if you are not fully convinced. And if new reveals are expected soon...

The problem with Faux Leather is it might crack and flake a few years down the road... Collectors have posted some pictures in these forums over the years showing it... So it's always a risk...

We’ll be seeing it sooner or later. Mark my words.

Sometimes I look at this and kind of like it. Then I see it from other angles and shake my head. Wish I could see it in person.

Like nearmint and Batman Statue Collector said, it’s much better in person. You’ll find yourself admiring the portrait.

Its one of those statues where I like the top half more than the bottom half.

Because of the leg proportions or the Bat-chaps?

Little of both. I don't dislike the chaps terribly but I always prefer a more classic look. If they had handled it a little more like arkham origins with the two tone and more armored look it might be less of a jarring take.

I just read an article on Val Kilmer and he had this statue (with a Mark Twain head on it), they used a ton of flash for the pic, but the chaps were less bothersome to me and I could see what they were going for with the suit.
