Damn I was actually looking forward to this line being somewhat affordable since I was thinking these would be around the same price range of the injustice 2 1/4 line
But than someone mentioned the army of the dead base so maybe that’s it
I really wanna know how much lurtz is gonna be since hes not too busy of a statue
Unless they got a bunch of switch outs

Yep, I had a feeling this was coming. They went cheaper on Sauron to get people on the hook. Now it’s gonna be $1,000+ a pop for 1/4 scale.
I waited on Sauron for that reason, so now after seeing the price of Aragorn, I’m out on this line.
That being said, the regular version likeness is really good.

Seems very pricy for a 1/4 piece. :/
The balrog dio is only a few hundred more. Hard to justify this before shipping, as much as I like it.

Very, very disappointed in pricing. I'm sorry, but there's no way he's worth that plus the shipping cost. Geralt was 800 or so 3-4 years ago with just as complex a base if not more so. And with the crazy QC on some of the lines, it's a hard pass on pre-ordering for sure.

Well... If 1k becomes the standard for 1/4, before shipping AND taxes, I don’t need a crystal ball to guess the future of my collection of statues...
I was happy , and I will always be, by continuing to collect my old tin toys.

I would take a discounted price point with minimal bases, or better, a deeper 1/5 line. But I understand the possibility that $1k for 1/4 was already a fixed target. I'm not really buying statues anymore - just watching, and dreaming. Averaging 1-2 statues a year tops, and sold off old ones. There are still some higher end toys hitting that sweet spot, but I feel those days are numbered too.
Price aside, I still don't like the idea of the long swords getting in the way, visually, of Aragorn. It's like they're extras, but they're not, because they're also integrated into the stylized motif base.

yeah 1k for 1:4 is ridiculous. Japanese companies have always been pricier like Art of War charging $400 for 1:10 or 1:8 back in the days but this is just too much.
I'd rather spend that to get myself a MAME cabinet.

Is it just me, or are there a lot more complaints for this statues pricing than there was for Aloy?
