That's one of the problems I have with the character designs of the TF movies. The robots all look too similar when in robot mode. You get them into a fighting scene and they all seem to blend together. Especially with the Decepticons. I think they made the characters have too many sharp metal pieces sticking out all over the place. For the most part they look like walking junk piles.

I think they should simplify the character designs to something more like what is shown in this game trailer...

The second TF was by far one of the worst movies undoubtedly. The first wasn't anything to rave about either...but was a hell of a lot better than part 2.
There shouldn't be anymore made if they are going to
bastardize everything.

it's not that they didn't want to. it's an obvious choice. but the problem is that German auto makers, Volkswagen specifically, don't want their image to be associated with war anymore, in any way or form. and The Transformers are basically machines of war. that's why you won't see the new Beetle in the TF movies or new toy lines again unless they change their stance, which is unlikely.

why not? GM just used the first 2 movies as one big car commercial
