Looked up on bing, some figures have a skirt some don't have one.

Yep, the one i had didnt have the skirt armor. Think it was added on for later figures.

This statue looks great but I hated the whole Cobra-la thing as a kid. Ruined G.I. Joe for me.

Nah those were the good old days where characters had to shout their moves before doing them.
