That price has to be a mistake right? I mean $700?! That's as much as a 1:3 scale piece. This is only 22 inches tall.

This is really awesome, the faux bronze is incredible. Wish I had money for this.

The details on this are insane and at 22" tall it's going to be at least 18" wide i'd guess.
I don't think any 1:3 pieces are $700 and if they were that was years ago, also if you mean the 1:3 Ninjas there's soooo much more work and detail in this.
Also super low numbers all round....

Yeah I'll wait to see the aftermarket prices. At the very least I can definitely see a handful of these ending up as warehouse gems. No need to preorder.

I was very excited about these announcement and although the piece is appealing I find the design somewhat uninspired. I wish they asked someone like Paul Komoda to contribute. Let's see where the series will go from here.

Both 1:3 Kitana and Mileena were the same price as this, $699.99 and that was last year. There is no way costs are going up that fast. And nothing justifies a $700 price tag on a 22 inch statue. Prime 1 is doing much more massive statues for about the same price.

It's not just the size that makes the price, it's also the material used (clear resin, light-up) and a low edition size. They cannot sell nearly as many Cthulhu than Prime 1 can sell Batman statues.
Kitana and Mileena had a combined ES of 700 for the cast; they are not nearly as complicated, the details are mostly in the fabric.
