The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

That's just poor practice, IMO. Dropping names of great artists just to catch people's attention when they never have the intention and conviction to follow through.

Copying bits and pieces from various sources and putting together a Frankenstein batman statue trying to please all batman fans out there and then calling it a "Definitive" batman statue is just delusional.

You mean custom statues? Do you have a contact or two to share?

Below is a true Alex Ross batman statue that I like. It's a custom piece. Unfortunately, I still don't know who makes it, where to get it and for how much. I have no intention to get it from scalpers.

I will wait for full reveals to pass judgment, but it does seem we are getting some Ross inspired portraits but with overly shredded Jim Lee inspired bodies.

I am interested to see how much of the so-called Ross inspired headsculpt would actually resemble anything from Ross artwork.

I expect to see maybe the long bat ears and a bit wrinkles on the forehead, but that's about it. We will see.

Unfortunately with only one torso, that will be the case. I prefer the shredded look for my heroes but I agree that's not Ross' style

You're probably right, am guessing long ears and potentially will be very close to Ross' art - but that's only the portrait

Wonder what the price will be, I predict the ones that want to collect this line will need a big bag of cash and love to pay high shipping costs

I would think Batman will be less than Iron Man. No switchout torso, and no light-up.

Hopefully, I'm more interested in wonder woman but also need to resist as I can't get into 1/3!
