I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

IKEA Question

So all of my 5 curio cabinets are full. I want to add a new and different display to my collection. Of the fellow collectors here who choose to display their pieces in the IKEA besta or pax...

How have they held up over the years? Peeling? Breakage? Sturdiness? Shelf bendage?
I'd appreciate the advice/experiences.

I've had besta's for around 8 years. They've held up fine but to be honest if I could do it all over I'd probably go a different way.

I still like the way they look but they are a little to limiting for me. Unfortunately the Pax is to tall so I've had to make due.

I’ve had Detolfs, Billy, and Besta for years and never had an issue. Well, the only issue I had was when IKEA White was changed to a brighter white which made the olde billy bookcases look a little dingy (but only when placed side by side).

I'm currently using a Stuva from Ikea, just assembled today, hopefully it will hold thanos well.

Theres was no info on how much weight it can carry. You guys think it will hold well? Gonna fill the remaining space with other statues aswell.

how many statues are you going to put in that shelving unit? Depending on the size of the statues, I would maybe do 1 on each shelf at first and then go from there.
I am sure that it will hold Thanos but you do not want to run any risk of something getting knocked off or tipping over.

Yeah I will 1 on each shelf. The other statues are on pre order. Next one to get should be Prime 1's Venom which is is over 80cm tall. It fits on the floor lvl
