Quoted for truth.
Anyone expecting less than about $1500 for a 1/3 (it is 1/3 right?) alien statue will likely be very disappointed.
The Cinemaquette Alien was 2 grand several years ago. Sideshow's Dog alien maquette might have been under 1 grand but considering that this one ----s all over it in every regard and is being released many years later guarantees a much higher price.
Personally I think it'll be $2,000, and that would currently be a reasonable price in this hobby.

For sure it will be too much and by too much I mean by what people want to pay.
Alien and Predator pieces are wither all or nothing. There are so many intricacies it really is all or nothing.

Deluxe version ES of 800 priced at $1,699
Standard version ES of 1,000 priced at $1,499
Deluxe version includes this extra closed mouth portrait, which IMO, is a must for this pose. Plus, the Deluxe comes with an extra base bust to display the other portrait. Way more pictures on Facebook, but I don't have time to post them all as I'm running off to work.

The Deluxe actually includes 2 inner mouths, a short and a long, to go with the open mouth portrait. I haven't been this excited about a collectible in a while.
It's Deluxe or Fail for me.
