I get why some of you guys are disappointed about the apparent neglect of the Greek myth line. Trust me. I felt the same way about Frazetta's line being discontinued. Fighting Man of Mars being cancelled was a tragedy to me.

The way I see it is Arahom is trying to build something here that he can call his own. In the big picture, that's probably what he feels is best for the future of his company. Ehren's gone on record as saying that their original creations were their hottest sellers last year and that the mythology statues will still come eventually. Maybe the sales from these original characters will allow them to continue other projects like Hades and more.

If you guys hate the direction they're going in, that's fine but these original pieces may be a big reason why you'll eventually get more mythology statues. Just saying.

I like the comic statues, but i want the line of olympian gods completed in my lifespan. If Arahom doesn't want to sculpt men for a while, he could continue with Aphrodite and Hera at least. With Aphrodite he could go all out nudity too since it would fit her like a glove.

Bottom line is nothing sells better than female figures to a predominantly male market.

I just read a reply to my question on Facebook about a large base for the two sculptures. Arahom said its very unlikely because of costs, but said that he had an idea of doing the blood mirror with two sets of stairs going down to it, one for each statue. But he said it was very unlikely... not as unlikely as seeing a greek god in 2016, but very unlikely. (that was a joke!)
