Hah, I'm actually reading that one. It's nothing special in my opinion though. I will most likely drop it soon.
The Magneto: Testament limited series from a few years back however, was great.

He's more overtly villainous now than he has been in a while. He's murdered quite a few people in this series so far. Obviously he's doing it all for what he feels is the greater good of his people, but that's always been his defining character trait.

But the people he murders in this series are evil people who has a hand in the killing of the mutants afaik., not just regular people. In that regard, he is more of an anti-hero like the Punisher now.
Btw, I'm surprised that nobody mentioned Silver Surfer yet. It's not even on the poll.

Any series that people like to read will be cancelled. That is Marvels way.

I'm reading Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and X-Factor. Of the three, I'd say Nightcrawler is the weakest and will get the axe first. I am enjoying the Cyclops book, but feel like it should be a mini. You know that he has to go back to earth and the time-displaced original X-Men sooner rather than later. I am enjoying X-Factor but not nearly as much as the previous incarnation. Peter David does a great job with this new team but I was so invested in his last run, I just want that team back, and I feel like he had lots more to say with that group but Marvel pulled the plug.

Disagree. Early in his career and all the way up until Utopia he clearly was a villain. History and background notwithstanding, his motivations were similar to Dr. Doom's: mass domination and rule along with destroying his enemies. The last few years he's turned a corner, for now, but he's still largely considered a mass murderer and villain which is his history.

The only one on this list I'm reading now is Iron Fist, so I hope that stays for a while as I'm getting into it.

It is? I thought it's an ongoing series.

Magneto acts for the benefit and ultimately dominance of the mutant race and for that he declares war on humanity whom he sees as the ultimate enemy, whereas Dr. Doom acts on his selfish desires and lust for power, and for that he tries to gain dominance over the whole world . Their motivations are quite different.
