Good to hear!

Looking forward to seeing you guys again on FB live.

Recent pics of this piece look good.. If I had a place for him I would order...

Only issue is the size. I wish he was a tad bigger.

Well, I got done everything I wanted to on this. I did a dark wash on the base to make it stand out a little more. Did a light wash on most of the dark dots on face and body to make them blend in a bit more. I like the results. Got the fence put together. Word of caution, don't put a lot of pressure on the eyelets. I broke off four bending the wires even though I was bending them around my finger and not the eyelets themselves.

I noticed that the center pole is leaning quite a bit to the side, unlike in Paul's demonstration video where it was straight up. Thought maybe mine had a problem until I looked at a couple of other in hand pictures. Don't understand that discrepancy, but without the lean, the pole would go straight through the middle of the tail. The leaning pole at least makes sense as it relates to the diorama. I think in the movie the poles were further apart. In the dio, the rex wouldn't have been able to squeeze through without knocking the pole out of place. The poles are only 4 inches apart and the rex is almost 5 inches at the hips.

Got #2 in today. Roughly the same as the others with dots. I think they get paid per dot at the factory. Body looks awesome though. All in all a nice piece

Wow #2, that's pretty cool. For whatever reason I'm always attracted to lower numbers.

Obviously, dots are not airbrushed, but I think a very light wash will mute them a bit. I guess the thing that does bother me about the dots, is that they are random dots and not just highlights of the raised areas of the skin like they are supposed to be. It's not that big an issue though.
Great one!!!
