Yeh. I'd rather see it in person than take a 10% loss.

I've been looking forward to this for a long time and hate paying money for nothing.

Hopefully it looks better in person or a repaint/selling it on will happen.

What gets me is what I feel like is lazy spot work on the belly. My point of using red lines to connect the dots was to demonstrate unimaginative, rushed art work. Maybe it's on the proto... but in any case, I'm just glad it's not normally seen.

It might depend on your monitors, but from what I see in RL and my last pictures on the carpet, I captured the color exactly. But only the pictures I took while on the carpet.

So, I took this outside to take this series of pics. As I mentioned before, I did a dark wash on the base to make it stand out a little more. Didn't want to get too crazy with the highlighting as the mud should be pretty uniform in color. The whole thing was darkened slightly with a little more in the nooks and crannies.

Did a light wash on the dots. Even though they look pretty good in the pictures I posted straight out of the box, I think you can see they look a little "hazier". They just blend a little better. Also lightened the dots on the tongue.

I'm really happy with this. I would have been too if I hadn't done anything to it. And, what I did wasn't hard at all.

It took a couple of days to get a response. A few more after that to get an e-mail stating the refund had begun it's process. It took about an additional week to see the funds back into my account.
