I'm not sure it makes sense for me to get one, especially as they cost more here. You'd think in this day and age they would have found a way to let you pick and choose which games you wanted, or at least to add others. I don't care about the majority of games pre-loaded onto this.
They could have done that, but Nintendo knows that they can make more money selling these locked boxes. The chip it's using has decent power (similar to that of a Wii) and tons of space for hundreds of games, but that wouldn't be smart financially. They'll see how this does and then we'll likely see alot of follow ups for NES and SNES. They'll be these types of set ups though. At the very least, they can include a long ass cord next time.

I've been having a blast with my NES - my favorite by far is Metroid and Castlevania 2. Super Mario Bros brings back so many great memories - such a blast!

Best Buy put a few up last night and managed to snag one. Now hopefully they didn't oversell their stock and I actually receive it. Knowing my luck, I won't

Well it shipped out. Guess they didn't oversell their stock. Happy day

...my wife seems to think I should be a total *** and flip it for double before the holidays while stock is non-existent

Was it just luck, constant checking or how did you know they had some?
