i like the shiny on the cm though,wis the hot toys was shiny.I like shiny things.

Not even close - though I guess it depends on what you want. I've never seen either of these in person, but the idea of having a fully articulated toy at this price vs. essentially a fixed display of a Batmobile (for $2000) is a no brainer. Gimme the toy!

This guy knows what he is talking about. If Hot Toys does go into 1/4, my collection might be much less SS focused.

Wow, this one is definitely top of the tops and I haven't even ordered the 89 baty yet ....guess this couple is unseparatable.

I think they are equally great - but the 89 is stratospheric great!

I agree. When I see the Tumbler I think military vehicle re-purposed for Batman. When I see the '89 I think just BATMOBILE!!!

That is my biggest problem with the new Batmobile. It's given to him. I mentioned that in another thread here. Almost everything is waiting for Bruce to become Batman. I'm glad they had the one accountant find the blueprints in The Dark Knight.

It has actually never been called the batmobile
