The cinemaquette versions were made from the original props. However, they never said which props. It bugged me that their versions didn't have any of the weapons for the price. Now it looks like we will get a Hot Toys Batmobile and Batwing for less than the price of the cinemaqutte Batwing.

Not even close - though I guess it depends on what you want. I've never seen either of these in person, but the idea of having a fully articulated toy at this price vs. essentially a fixed display of a Batmobile (for $2000) is a no brainer. Gimme the toy!

This guy knows what he is talking about. If Hot Toys does go into 1/4, my collection might be much less SS focused.

I agree. When I see the Tumbler I think military vehicle re-purposed for Batman. When I see the '89 I think just BATMOBILE!!!

That is my biggest problem with the new Batmobile. It's given to him. I mentioned that in another thread here. Almost everything is waiting for Bruce to become Batman. I'm glad they had the one accountant find the blueprints in The Dark Knight.
