The stance is definitely reminiscent of Scorpion's from MK 2 - I thought that's who it was at first, too, and it may yet turn out to be - but the pose is just like that of the sneaked unmasked Sub-Zero render from a few months back. The forearm guards actually looked different on the original digital sneak but, admittedly, it was still a WIP back then. The stance is pretty much identical, though, and, as Sigep said, the shin guard patterns also suggest this is a statue of Sub-Zero.

One of the reasons why I have always been a fan of the new modern gear is they are all unique instead of just color swaps. I will always take the modern MK over the old MK any day.
With that being said, looks like a solid unfinished statue right now, and I can't wait to see the full reveal. I expect this to look awesome once it is finished and painted so I can tell exactly who it is, instead of the guessing game.
I am more interested in the next MK 9 statue coming from PCS instead of the Klassic. But that's just me.

I'm with you loric...bring on modern MK9 please. Jerry hinted on Facebook that the next MK9 piece will show in August, but no hints on which character it will be.
Hope the line gets some momentum.

I know things can change from day to day month to month, but from what was posted on MK ONline quite some months ago, I think Mileena was in the works. That is who I am going to go with for now.
