I saw it on Thanksgiving. To sum it up: I have higher expectations. People say that it's DARKER. We see people die on TV everyday. We even see real people die on the news. One of my problems is, that in the HARRY POTTER universe, nobody dies and stays dead. In the film one of the students is killed and then 2 seconds later he's standing next to Harry as a ghost helping him. Dead should mean dead! I did enjoy the film, but I expected a lot more.

Not saying that these totaly s#(*# but all of them feel extremely plotless to me, they just seem to come up with events on the fly, chaotic even. They really do not tell a good story imo, still watchable.
The ending to the first one really sucked. Harry touches the bad guy and he turns to ash. Then Dumbledore explains that this happened because his mother loved him.

WHAT THE HELL KIND OF AN ANSWER IS THAT??? I pay $15 to take my girlfriend to the movies and all I get is "It was your mother's LOVE." They should have given everyone their money back and came up with a better ending.
