I like her design but the pose just seems a bit awkward and forced to me, it's like she's posing for the camera but can't quite decide which way to pose, doesn't seem as natural as the rest of the line-up.

IMO, a poor pose. Can't see the gargoyle and Batgirls face at the same time. And if you turn it to see the gargoyle you can't see her face. If you turn it to an angle shot, you can't get full view of either the gargoyle or Batgirls face.

The catch here is that if you tweak it, you are right back into a Sideshow captain morgan pose.

I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe best not to judge until painted.

In it's grey state, Batgirl looks:

1. Not happy in mouth area.

2. Her legs give the impression she's not as fit as she should be, and could loose some weight.

3. Her left hand, the way she is holding the Bat object, says 'i've have enough of being Batgirl.. time for a career change..'

I really like the pose and I think everything will make more sense when colored.

I will say that my only issue is the direction she is looking. She should really be looking the same way her bent knee is pointing. That would turn the pose away from a somewhat weird "pose for the camera" look to a more "i'm on the hunt" look.

Also I wouldn't classify this as the same thing as a Sideshow pose. Just having a knee bent isn't enough to do it. It's the lack of energy that makes it a Sideshow pose. Sideshow poses have the character standing near bolt straight and then have a slightly bent knee and uneven base.

In this case her knee is bent a lot and it makes sense for the pose. Just look at Wonder Woman, Power Girl, Superman, etc... The way their leg is bent looks forced as though the sculptor did a generic museum pose and then changed it at the last second so it looked more "dynamic."

I really wish her pose was different look how they did knightwing. Why couldnt they pose her the same way as the promotional picture/tease they did a while back also seems as her hair isnt quite enough as the game shows

BG is definetly on my watch list. I love what I have seen so far. I don't have a problem with the pose as most seem to. If she were looking in the same direction as her bent knee it would be more of a Captain Morgan pose. Maybe she sees something off to her right and that's why she is looking in that direction. Not an issue for me.

They played it well making this a themed/complimentary base with Nightwing. That will push a few people over the edge if the pose doesn't click on the final version.
